Dehumidification with injection
Owing to their macro-porous structure, dehumidifying plasters are particularly effective in treating problems related to rising damp, as they transfer the dampness to the outside. The use of a system that prevents the rising action is another possible option for refurbishing walls, and can be implemented alone or together with a refurbishment plaster. Risano W is a product that, when suitably diluted in water and injected, makes walls hydrophobic to a great depth by saturating their micro-pores and reducing the surface tension in the macro-pore (capillary) walls.
A water-repellent product for injections that can be diluted in water.
It is a concentrated product made up of water repellents with functional modification. When suitably diluted in water and injected, it makes walls hydrophobic to a great depth by saturating the material’s micro-pores and reducing the surface tension in the macro-pore (capillary) walls.
CONSUMPTION: the consumption depends on the wall’s absorbency and its degree of saturation (dampness). We recommend using between 10 and 20 litres of product diluted 1:10, for one square-metre of a 50 cm-thick wall.
A single-coat lightened dehumidifying plaster.
RISANO LIGHT is a pre-mixed dehumidifying plaster in powder form, formulated with natural hydraulic binders. The product features a high dimensional stability, while also being lightened and fibre-reinforced, and is perfectly compatible with mineral finishes formulated with lime or silicates. The product does not require the use of any other primer or anti-salt scratch coat and exerts the distinctive action of transferring the dampness from the wall to its own mass, so that any salts present can deposit within the product’s characteristic macro-pores.
CONSUMPTION: 10 kg/m2 per cm of thickness.

RISANO LIGHT FINITURA is a white product designed for skim coating surfaces refurbished with dehumidifying plasters such as RISANO LIGHT, made up of aerial and hydraulic binders, siliceous aggregates and special additives and resins which make the product highly breathable.
CONSUMPTION: roughly 0.32–0.36 kg/m2.
