ENERGY REQUALIFICATION

BLANKET SYSTEMS

Blanket insulation systems are currently one of the most widely-used solutions for improving a building’s energy performance. Skim coats of the Rasacoat range are ideal for gluing and skim coating insulating panels, which are an essential part of this system.

RASACOAT LIGHT

Lightened skim coat adhesive for blanket insulating system

RASACOAT LIGHT is a lightened single-component mineral powder skim coat adhesive with expanded glass micro-spheres, made up of cement binder, selected siliceous aggregates, synthetic resins and specific additives. The product features an excellent adhesive power, high elasticity, quick drying times and excellent workability and lightness. With the sole addition of clean water, it creates a mixture that is suitable for gluing and for the final skim coating of insulating panels made of polystyrene (EPS), polyurethane, mineral fibre and cork, on old and new outdoor or indoor building surfaces, in blanket insulating systems. When used for skim coating, the product must be reinforced with an appropriate blanket mesh.

CONSUMPTION: roughly 1.2 kg/m2 per mm of thickness, roughly 3–5 kg/m2 for gluing applications, roughly 3.6 kg/m2 for skim coating of 3 mm thickness.

RASACOAT

Skim coat adhesive for blanket insulating systems with medium grain size.

RASACOAT is a single-component powder mineral skim coat adhesive made up of cement-based binder, selected siliceous aggregates, synthetic resins and specific additives, featuring an excellent adhesive power, high elasticity and quick drying times. With the sole addition of clean water, the product creates a mixture that is suitable for gluing and for the final skim coating of insulating panels made of polystyrene (EPS), polyurethane, mineral fibre and cork, on old and new outdoor or indoor building surfaces, in blanket insulating systems. When used for skim coating, the product must be reinforced with an appropriate blanket mesh.

CONSUMPTION: roughly 3–7 kg/m2 for gluing applications, roughly 5 kg/m2 for skim coating, 0.8 mm and 1.2 mm grain size.
